He was born in Greece. He began dancing at the age of seven and got a teaching diploma at 19. He also holds diplomas in the examination system of the Royal Academy of Dance London and the Spanish National Dance Company. He attended Kira Kegel’s contemporary dance workshops. While still a student, he worked with the Niki Kontaxaki group of modern and classical dance, performing principal roles in the ballets: Serenade, Le corsaire, Giselle, Coppélia, Don Quixote, etc. He joined the GNO Ballet in 1999 and has been a principal dancer since 2003. From 1997 to 2014 he danced first roles in ballets such as The Nutcracker, La bayadère, Sleeping Beauty, Raymonda, Birds [Ornithes], Romeo and Juliet, Zorba the Greek, Pinnochio, Le Corsaire, Les symphides, La fillle mal gardée (2008/09), Romeo and Juliet (2011/12), Chopin in love (2013/14), Alles Walzer! (2011/12), Journey to eternity (2012/13), etc. He also danced in ballet segments in the operas: The manuscripts of Manuel Salinas, Rhea, Marathon-Salamis, Aida (2008/09, Herodeion), Die Sieben Todsünden, I vespri siciliani, etc. He presented his own choreographies in the GNO’s DanceBox educational activity (2013) and at the Open rehearsal of GNO’s new choreographers (2014). // Last update of the biography: November 2018.
