Lighting Designer
He has been Head Electrician for the Teatro Regionale Toscano (1981-87) and lighting designer for the festivals in Montepulciano (1988) and Montalcino (1989). During 1991-95 he worked as a lighting designer for Walter Le Moli, Gigi dall’Aglio, Cristina Pezzoli, Peter Stein, Franco Pero at the Teatro Due in Parma. He has worked with numerous prestigious directors such as Luca Ronconi, Franco Zeffirelli, Roberto de Simone, Roberto Guicciardini, Antoine Vitez, Beni Montresor, Mario Monicelli, Attilio Colonello, Vivien Hewitt, Daniele Abbado, Francesco Miceli and Pier Luigi Pizzi. Moreover, he has worked with Bob Wilson in such productions as Giorgio Armani Story, Hamlet, Persephone, Wings on Rock, Lady from the Sea as well as for contemporary art exhibitions in Milano and Valencia. He has designed the lighting for numerous operas such as La traviata, Carmen, Roberto Devereux, Nabucco, La fanciulla del West, Madama Butterfly, I due Foscari, Simon Boccanegra in famous theatres and festivals worldwide. // Last update of the biography: October 2020 - The list of the productions below is complete.
