He was born in Athens. He studied music and visual arts with his parents as teachers. Before turning to musical theater, he was originally engaged in sculpture. He attended singing seminars with Kostas Paschalis, Ileana Kotroubas, Jeannette Pilou and Luigi Alva. He was a GNO chorister, while attending the Workshop for Opera and Theatre by Spyros Evangelatos. In GNO he debuted as a soloist during the period from 1993 to 1994, co-starring in the role of Athanaël, in the opera Thaïs. Ever since he has appeared in more than 15 projects. Inter alia he interpreted the roles: Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Fiorello (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Count di Luna (Il trovatore), Belcore (L'elisir d'amore), Marcello and Schaunard (La bohème), Dr. Falke (Die Fledermaus), Silvio (Pagliacci) et al. He has performed roles as a soloist in operas and musical dramas of Greek composers. He sang at the Athens Concert Hall the work “And I looked and behold” [Ke idon ke idou] by Michalis Adamis (1994), he appeared as Cadmus in The Bacchae by Argyris Kounadis (1996) and as Guglielmo in the opera (Così fan tutte) [Opera Studio of the Athens Concert Hall  (MMA), 1997].
