She studied scenography at NABA in Milan. She approached opera thanks to an internship in the stage direction department of the La Scala, Milan, where she continued working as assistant director alongside directors like Mario Martone, Grisha Asagaroff, Nikolaus Lehnhoff, Kasper Holten, Jürgen Flimm in such productions as Turandot, Cavalleria rusticana / Pagliacci, Il barbiere di Siviglia, L’elisir d’amore, The Turn of the Screw and Ti vedo, ti sento, mi perdo. She worked as an assistant to many directors as Serena Sinigaglia, Francesco Micheli, Gioele Dix, Renato Bonajuto and as a stage manager for Donizetti Opera Festival and The New Generation Festival. Since 2022 she began working alongside Leo Muscato for Cecilia, Il Xerse, La Cenerentola (revival), Prometheus Bound, Twelfth Night. In 2022 she won the 4th prize at the XII European Opera-Directing Prize by Opera Europa with an innovative version of The Turn of the Screw. She debuted as a director with Cavalleria rusticana (Teatro Fusco, Taranto) and staged a site-specific version of La sonnambula at Piccolo Opera Festival. // Last update of the biography: July 2023 - The list of the productions below is complete.
