She was born in Larissa and began voice lessons with Kitsa Damasioti. She then studied at the University of Music and Drama Hanover, at the Opera and Chamber Music departments. She collaborated with the Athens Concert Hall and the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, as well as with opera houses in Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, Italy and Russia. She has appeared at a number of festivals in Athens, Ancient Corinth, Nafplio, Aegina, Rhodes, Demetria Festival, Guitar-plus, Händel Festspiele Göttingen, Bayreuth Barock, Bebersee Kammermusikfestival, Môntalbane, etc. She has sung starring and supporting mezzo-soprano roles, such as Poppea (L 'incoronazione di Poppea), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Despina (Così fan tutte), Sesto (Giulio Cesare in Egitto), Boy (Die Zauberflöte), etc. She appeared at a number of international music events, performing medieval, renaissance and baroque music, Leid and contemporary Greek and international works. She has recorded a number of works by Greek, Italian and Spanish composers. She has collaborated with the Orchestra of Patras, the Orchestra of Colours, Camerata, Athens State Orchestra, Thessaloniki Symphony Orchestra and Hellenic Bradcasting Corporations (ERT) Music Ensembles. She has also worked with the ensembles Fretwork, Atalanti, Complesso Barocco and Musica Eterna. She is a founding member of the ensembles Duo Cancion and Erato, and works with the early music ensembles Latinitas Nostra, Ex Silencio and United Continuo Service. Her growing number of recordings includes the world premieres of the operas Ariadne auf Naxos by Handel (conducted by George Petrou, MDG) and Tolomeo e Alessandro in Egitto by Scarlatti (conducted by Alan Curtis, Archiv/DG). At the Greek National Opera she has sung in such productions as Die Zauberflöte (2010), Attention!
