She was born in Gemany in early 20th century. She debuted in 1933-34, at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. From 1934 to 1938, she was a member of the Breslau Opera and subsequently she sang at other theatres in Germany and Vienna (State Opera, People's Opera). Her career apparently ended prematurely, since the last mention of a performance by her is at the Graz Theatre in 1940-1941. Still, she was able to sing numerous roles such as Rezia (Oberon), Irene (Rienzi), Chrysothemis (Elektra), Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos), the Empress (Die Frau ohne Schatten), Leonora (Il trovatore), Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), Donna Leonora (La forza del destino), Santuzza (Cavalleria rusticana), Tosca, Minnie (La fanciulla del West), Turandot, Lisa (The Queen of Spades) and Yaroslavna (Prince Igor). She first collaborated with the Greek National Opera interpreting Eurydice in Gluck's opera Orfeo ed Eurudice during the Nazi Occupation, on 10 October 1942, at the Oden of Herodes Atticus.
