Irini Bilini-Moraiti

She was born and lives in Athens. She studied at the Department of Music Studies (NKUA), piano and advanced music theory at the Municipal Conservatory of Moschato, violin (Alexander Mato’s class) and monody (Christina Yannakopoulou’s class) at the Athenaeum Conservatory. In 2017, she completed her studies at the Centre for Early Music of the Athens Conservatoire with Aris Christofellis and Dimitris Kountouras. She has collaborated with the ensembles Latinitas Nostra (Markellos Chryssicos), Ex Silentio (Dimitris Kountouras) and with such institutions as the Greek National Opera, Athens Concert Hall, Athens Epidaurus Festival, Third Programme of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation. As part of the Lefkada Music Week, she sang Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) and Monica (Menotti’s The Medium). She was a regular member of the Athens Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Greek-Turkish Youth Orchestra, while in collaboration with the musician Apollon Retsos she participated in concerts and theatre / dance performances (Athens Concert Hall, Acropol Theatre, Athens Epidaurus Festival, Tanec Festival Prague, National Theatre of Greece, Pallas Theatre, Roes Theatre). // Last update of the biography: October 2022.
