Soloist, Soprano
Greek soprano, she was born in Thessaloniki, where she studied cello at the Municipal Conservatory. She continued postgraduate studies in singing at the Queens College, City University of New York, and at the Opera Institute of Boston University. She performs worldwide focusing on Europe and the USA. Her repertoire includes numerous leading roles such as Gilda (Rigoletto), Antonia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Micaëla (Carmen), Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Donna Anna and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Mimì (La bohème), Madama Butterfly, Liù (Turandot), Desdemona (Otello), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte). She performs with leading orchestras in prestigious theatres worldwide and as a soloist in oratorios, symphonies, requiems, Lieder evenings. Her repertoire ranges from the Baroque era till 20th century and contemporary music. Her recordings include Mascagni’s Zanetto with Odyssey Opera of Boston and George Tsontakis’ Mirologhia with the Albany Symphony Orchestra (KOCH International Classics).
