Soloist, Soprano
American-born soprano, she made her international breakthrough at the Salzburg Festival in 2019 as Elettra in Mozart’s Idomeneo. Company debuts since include ROH (Covent Garden, London) as Vitellia (La clemenza di Tito) and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Berlin State Opera (Donna Elvira), Festival d’Aix-en-Provence as Elettra (Idomeneo, 2022) and Despina (Così fan tutte, 2023), Musikfest Bremen (Violetta, La traviata), among others. She received the German Theatre Award “Der Faust” as Best Performing Artist in Germany in 2017 for the four female leads in Barrie Kosky’s production of Les Contes d’Hoffmann at Komische Oper Berlin, roles she also performed at La Monnaie, Brussels, in Krzysztof Warlikowski’s staging, now shown in Αthens. Her production at Hamburg State Opera in Schönberg’s Pierrot lunaire with Kent Nagano was recorded in 2020 for the Berlin Biennale. On DVD: Thaïs and Leonore in Fidelio (productions from Vienna Theatre, 2020 and 2021).
