He was born in Smyrna in 1915. He studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece, where he first performed in 1937 and remained throughout his artistic career, starring in countless performances and traversing all genres with unwavering faith and consistency. His presence in the cinema is also notable (Life Begins Again, I Swore to Take Revenge, Duchess of Plakentia, The Hands, Top Secret, The Color of Iris). Ηe performed with the Lyric State of the National Theatre as Prince’s valet in the operetta Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss the younger (1940).
