He was born on Tinos island. He obtained a diploma in monody under Iordanis Tsakiridis. He has been a member of the Greek National Opera Chorus since 1992. Between 1994 and 2014 he also sang as a soloist auxiliary and supporting roles the following operas: Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District, Salome, Carmen, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, La Traviata, La bohème, Marathon-Salamis, Il trovatore, Nabucco, Simon Boccanegra, I puritani, Ariadne auf Naxos, Tosca, Manon Lescaut and A Dream in Carnival [To apokriatiko oneiro] by Iosif Ritsiardis. He has sung at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Athens Concert Hall, etc. His repertoire also includes roles from Otello (Roderigo), Anna Bolena (Smeton), Madama Butterfly (Goro), Kostas Karyotakis by Mikis Theodorakis, Die Zauberflöte (Second armored man), Attila and The Mask of the Red [I maska tou kokkinou] by Dimitris Marangopoulos.
