She studied singing at the National Conservatory under Marika Kalfopoulou. She debuted in the Third Greek Opera Company, while still a student, in April 1939 singing in the opera La traviata, under conductor Totis Karalivanos. As a member of the Third Greek Opera Company she also sang a leading role in Rigoletto. She then joined the Greek National Opera. Between 1946-1953 she participated in approximately 20 productions and / or revivals singing roles in the operettas The Godson Theophrastos Sakellaridis (as Grankassa), 1946-1947, 1948-1949, 1950-1951, 1952-1953), The House Of The Three Girls [Das Dreimädelhaus] Franz Schubert and Heinrich Bert (as Mrs Weber in performances during 1946-1947 and 1947-1948, and as Mrs. Prametzberger from 1951 - 1952), Die lustige Witwe by Franz Lehár (1946-1947, 1947-1948, 1950-1951, 1951-1952), and finally A Waltz Dream [Ein Walzertraum] Oscar Strauss (as Fifi) 1948-1949). She also appeared in Carmen (as Frasquita, 1949/50, 1950/1, 1952/3).
