He was born in Ioannina. He studied dance at the School of Leonidas de Pian, at the State School of Orchestral Art and the Higher Professional Dance School of Despina Grigoriadou. He attended seminars on classical dance with Kalina Bogoeva, Vanessa de Ligniere, as well as Daniel Lommel and Alain Astié. He also attended modern dance seminars with Peter Goss and Rachelle Hickson and jazz with Matt Mattox. He worked with the Athens Ballet, the National Ballet of Rome, the Theatrokinisi group and the thater company "Dialogos". Since 1981 he is a resident with GNO's Corps de Ballet and has participated in almost all its productions, for example: Don Quixote (De Pian/Minkus), Sleeping Beauty (Petipa-Martinez/Tchaikovsky), Romeo and Juliet (Van Dantzig/Prokofiev), Giselle (Bogoeva/Adam), Cinderella (Vinogradov/Prokofiev), The Cursed Serpent (Massine/Hadjidakis), The Corsair (Le Corsaire) (Petipa-De Pian/Adam), Pinocchio (Armitage/Melocchi), The Wayward Daughter [La fille mal gardée] (Ashton/Gorsky-Hertel) etc. He also dances in ballet segments in operas and operettas. Since 2003 he is the Ballet Curator at the GNO Ballet.
