Set Designer, Costume Designer
She was born in Amaranto of Epirus. She studied set and costume design in Athens and abroad. She began her professional career in 1977 at the fine arts workshop of Giannis Skarperos, where she took on mosaic, painting and restoration of artworks. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant set designer alongside Tasos Zografos. She collaborated on works of both the classical and contemporary repertoire, as well as ancient drama, with directors Giorgos Michailidis, Spyros Evangelatos, Vassilis Nikolaidis, Raia Mouzenidou, Giannis Margaritis, Evi Gavriilidi, Yannis Iordanidis, Lida Tasopoulou, et al. She also coooperated with numerous Greek actors, including: Thanasis Veggos, Angelos Antonopoulos and Giorgos Tsitsopoulos. In film, she worked with Stavros Konstantarakos, Giorgos Panousopoulos, Dimitris Arvanitis, Panagiotis Maroulis (award for best set design in the science fiction film "Before the end of the world"), Maria Iliou (award for best costume design in the period film "Alexandria"). She has received two theatrical awards for best set and costume design in the theatrical staging of Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage. She was honored with the Best Set Design award for the period television series "The Hall of the Throne" [I aithousa tou thronou] and has cooperated in the production of numerous TV shows and films.
