Annie Fassea

Soloist, Soprano
Soprano of Greek and Scottish origin, she was born in Athens. She studied classical singing at the Athenaeum Conservatory with Christina Yannakopoulou (diploma with honours, 2017) and at the Department of Wine and Beverage Sciences (Technological Educational Institute of Athens). During 2016/17 she participated as an additional chorus member in numerous productions of the Greek National Opera, while in 2017/18 she participated at the educational program “The Young Generation of the Opera” singing in Idomeneo, re di Creta, Suor Angelica and Il tabarro. She also sang the role of Nora in Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Riders to the Sea (Horto Festival, 2017) and participated in the opera Raven revisited by Kostis Kritsotakis (2018). She has attended seminars with Dimitri Kavrakos, Aris Christofellis, Christos Marinos, Irini Tsirakidis, etc, as well as at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has participated as a soloist and in ensembles in opera educational performances for children, in concerts and festivals (Horto Festival, Cephalonia Festival, Heraklion Festival in Crete, Mediterranean Festival of the Municipality of Kallithea). // Last update: March 2019
