He studied singing with Marika Kalfopoulou. He made his career in the first half of the 1960s. In cooperation with the State Orchestra of Athens and the Athens Choir he sang in the works Seasons [Die Jahreszeiten] by Josef Haydn and St Matthew Passions by Johan Sebastian Bach, conducted Menelaos Pallantios. During 1958-1965 he worked with the GNO participating in seven productions and five revivals of operatic works. He has sang Alfredo Germont [The fallen woman/Traviata], Il Conte d’Almaviva [The barber of Seville/Il barbiere di Siviglia], Paolino [The secret marriage/Il matrimonio segreto], Nemorino [The Elixir of Love/L'elisir d'amore], Marquis von Chateauneuf [Tsar and carpenter/Zar und Zimmermann]..
