He studied singing with Marika Kalfopoulou. He made his career in the first half of the 1960s. In cooperation with the State Orchestra of Athens and the Athens Choir he sang in the works Die Jahreszeiten by Josef Haydn and St Matthew Passions by Johan Sebastian Bach, conducted Menelaos Pallantios. During 1958-1965 he worked with the GNO participating in seven productions and five revivals of operatic works.
