Eleni Gaga-Spyropoulou

Born in Epirus. She studied at the National Conservatory under Marika Kalfopoulou. She graduated in 1952 with distinction and the highest honor. In 1953 started her career collaborating with the Athens State Orchestra. In 1954 he was hired as a member of the chorus of the Greek National Opera. From 1953-1954 and 1967-1968 interpreted roles in more than 25 productions and / or revivals. She sang leading roles in operas Les Contes d'Hoffmann (Olympia), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rosina), Rigoletto (Gilda), Un ballo di maschera (Oscar), Lucia di Lammermoor (Lucia), The Mother’s Ring by Manolis Kalomiris (Erophile / Fairy).
