Fylli Georgiadou

GNO Chorus member, Soprano
She was born in Athens. She is a graduate of the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Athens, and also a political sciences post-graduate student at Panteion University. She studied cello and singing, while she obtained a monody diploma under George Zervanos. She attended masterclasses under Helmuth Rilling, Ghena Dimitrova and Aris Christofellis. She has participated in a number of international singing competitions. She has sung in productions of GNO’s Children’s Theater, including: The freeshooter [Der Freischütz], Orpheus in the Underworld [Orphée aux enfers], Hansel and Gretel [Hänsel und Gretel], as well as in the opera Carmen (as Frasquita) at the Festival of the Aegean. In the 2012/13 season she participated as Rosina in GNO’s educational program of The Barber of Seville [Il barbiere di Siviglia], presented in a primary school tour around Greece. In 2014 she appeared as Second Apparition in GNO’s production of Macbeth.
