Stavros Giannoulis
Soloist, Tenor
Greek tenor, born in Thessaloniki. He studied with Achilleas Tsantalos, a bass of the Greek National Opera (diploma in monody and melodrama). He has participated in numerous concerts and galas (Vafopouleio Cultural Centre, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, National Theatre of Northern Greece, Homerion Cultural Centre of Chios, Greek Friends of the José Carreras Foundation, Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art, French and Italian Institutes of Thessaloniki, Parnassos Literary Society Concert Hall, etc.). He has collaborated with Joseph Benakis, Sarantis Kassaras, Yannis Markopoulos, Jenny Drivala, Katerina Economou, Kostas Katsaras, etc. He participated in the Thessaloniki Young Artists Week with his own concerts (2011, 2012). He collaborated with the Skull of Yorick Productions (2011/4) and performed roles such as Canio (Pagliacci), Cassio (Otello, with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra conducted by John Apeitos), Rodolfo (La bohème).
