She was born on 11/05/1958 in London. She studied contemporary dance at the Laban Centre in London and took part in performances. She taught dance and movement at the Webber- Douglas Academy of Drama and worked for a year as a movement and choreography intern at Shakespeare and Company (Massachusetts, USA). Moreover, she studied theatre. Later, she worked for four months as a choreography and movement designer’s assistant at the Stratford Festival. After gaining experience, she began teaching movement at the Opera School of the Royal College of Music in London. In 1995, she choreographed Wagner’s opera Der Ring des Nibelungen, which was a great success. Since then, she has worked on major productions and collaborated with renowned directors. Her most outstanding productions are those with the English National Opera (Sir John in Love, Das Rheingold, Lucia di Lammermoor). A major career highlight was in 2008, when she was asked to teach body movement to the celebrity contestants on the BBC2 series ‘’Maestro’’. She died in a car accident on 27/03/2009.
