He graduated from the Athens College In 1969 and went on to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London (1975), and at the Staatstheater Stuttgart where he studied dramaturgy and direction (1980). He co-founded the Theatriki Syntechnia Company (1977-1977), in which he participated as an actor and director. He has sung in many Festivals in Greece and abroad (Britain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Poland). He organized the Open Theater Days International Festival, together with a number of alternative theater companies from Poland, United Kingdom, Finland, Argentina, Cyprus and other countries. During the period 1977-1990 he collaborated with national and state theaters in Greece and abroad (National Theater of Northern Greece, National Theater of Greece, Royal Dramatic Theater of Sweden, National Theater of Norway, etc.), and staged more than 30 stage plays of a wide repertory. In 1999 he founded the Notos Theater Company/Amore Theater Studio Stage, serving as its head and working as director to date. In 2014 he collaborated with the GNO for the first time, in the production of Don Giovanni, staged at the Herodeion as part of the Athens Festival. In 2007-2013 he held the position of Art Director with the National Theater of Greece. He has also served as member of the Board with the National Theater, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and the Organization for the promotion of Hellenic Cultural Heritage (OPEP). // Last update of the biography: December 2015
