She studied singing in the Athens Conservatory. On 11/5/1952 she appeared with the Athens State Orchestra. Her first participation in performances with the Greek National Opera is traced in a printed programme of the period 1956/57, where she sings the part of Gilda (Rigoletto). In 1959 she was hired by the Greek National Opera as a chorist and soloist.
