Zoe Kissa
Soprano
She was born in Athens. She started her music studies with piano and harp lessons and joined the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) Children’s Choir. In 2003 she was nominated for a scholarship as a vocal soloist from the Philippos Nakas Conservatory. As of 2004 she studied monody at the Athens Conservatory under Kiki Morphoniou. In June 2005 and 2006 she attended classical singing lessons under soprano Phyllis Curtin. She has sung in the radio show Performance Place - The Roundtable, in New York. In 2006/07 she sang the role of Serpina in the opera The Servant Turned Mistress [La serva padrona], in a joined production by the Athens Chamber Orchestra and the GNO.
