Greek tenor, he graduated from the Athenaeum Conservatory (singing, under Christina Giannakopoulou) and completed his master’s studies in Mozarteum University Salzburg under Barbara Bonney, Josef Wallnig and Eike Gramss as a scholar of Maria Callas Greek Society (Christos Lambrakis Scholarship) and Alexander S. Onassis Foundation. He has worked with the Greek National Opera, theatres of Bremen, Freiburg, Bremerhaven, Görlitz, Pforzheim, Theater für Niedersachsen, Tonhalle Zürich, Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Halls, Athens Epidaurus Festival, Kvarner, Aegean and Eptapyrgio Festivals, as well as with prestigious orchestras. He has received acclaiming reviews for his performances as Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca), B. F. Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Macduff (Macbeth), Don Alvaro (La forza del destino), Count des Grieux (Manon), Roméo (Roméo et Juliette), Max (Der Freischütz), Tito (La clemenza di Tito), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Prinz Sou-Chong (Das Land des Lächelns), as well as in Handel’s Messiah, Dvořák’s Stabat Mater, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle and Verdi’s Requiem. He has worked with the Greek National Opera in numerous productions: singing the leading role of Nemorino (L'elisir d'amore), as well as roles in the Konstantinidis’ operetta The love bacillus (2009/10). He appeared as Ramiro (La Cenerentola) in a production by GNO’s Children’s Stage (2007/08), while he also participated in productions of the GNO Experimental Stage. In addition, he co-starred as Aladdin (Aladino e la lampada magica, 2007/08) and Pygmalion (Die schöne Galathée, 2008/09) in joint productions by the Athens Chamber Opera and the GNO. // Last update of the biography: July 2023 - The list of the productions below is continually updated.
