He was born in Naoussa. By the age of eight he was dancing in a folk dance group with which participated in festivals in Greece and abroad. He studied at the School of Agriculture at the University of Thessaloniki, while, at the same time, he took classic and modern dance lessons at the Judith Neil Dance School (Thessaloniki), where he was taught the system of the Royal Academy of Dance London, and at the Amalia Strinopoulou Dance School (Thessaloniki). He also attended the Higher Vocational School of Despina Grigoriadou in Athens, from where he graduated with a diploma in dance, and attended seminars on classic ballet, modern dance, jazz and flamenco. He participated in the dance performances staged by Despina Grigoriadou and in productions of the dance department of the National Theater of Northern Greece. He was also involved in the dance shows of various amateur and professional dance groups, as well as in dance ensembles of theatrical groups and television shows. He worked with renowned Greek choreographers such as Yanni Fleury, Fotis and Panos Metaxopoulos, Angelos Hatzis, Fokas Enangelinos, etc. He teaches in dance schools to new dancers. He is a member of the GNO Corps de Ballet since 1991, participating in almost all productions, such as: Don Quixote (De Pian/Minkus), Giselle (Andre-Coralli-Perro/Adam), Cinderella (Vinogradov/Prokofiev), Zorba (Massine/Theodorakis), The Cursed Serpent (Massine/Χατζιδάκις), The Corsair (De Pian/Adam), Pinocchio (Armitage/Melocchi), La Bayadère (Metsis-Petipa/Minkus) etc. He also dances in ballet segments in operas and operettas, such as, Eugene Onegin, The Bat (Die Fledermaus), The Godson, Adriana Lecouvreur, etc.
