She was born in Villia, Attiki, on 13/4/1926. In 1941 she was rejected by the Drama School of the Greek National Theater. She studied at the Marika Kotopouli Drama School. She made her debut in 1942, in the play Hanneles goes to Heaven [Hanneles Himmelfahrt] by Gerhart Hauptmann. Her collaboration with the Art Theater in the period 1946-1948 established her as an actress in the Athens drama stage. At Art Theater she appeared, among others, in the plays The Glass Menagerie and Antigone and Blood Wedding [Bodas de sangre], in which the music was composed by Manos Hatzidakis). She also collaborated with Katerina’s theatre company (1948), the Greek National Theater (1948) and the K. Mousouris company (1949). In 1952, together with Dimitris Horn and Giorgos Papas, they founded the Lambeti-Pappas-Horn theatre company and in 1956 it became the Lambeti-Horn company. They staged plays of the classical repertoire and toured in Egypt, Constantinople and Cyprus. Since the 1960s she continued her theater career with her own company. Her biggest hits were A Streetcar named Desire, Pepsie, Sweet Irma [Irma La Douce], and The Cherry Orchard, while she also collaborated with renowned actors Manos Katrakis and Dimitris Papamichail. She also starred in the movies The Girl in Black [To koritsi me ta mavra], Sunday morning wake awakening [Kyriakatiko Xypnima] and The Fake Pound [I kalpiki lira], among others. She died in Athens in 3.9.1983. She was a member of the GNO BoD in the period 1968-1974.
