Greek soprano, she was born in Florina, Greece. She studied at the Würzburg University of Music, Germany, with Cheryl Studer (Diplom-Musikerin / Musiktheater and Master of Performance). She has sung Lady Billows (Albert Herring), Second Norn / Gutrune (Götterdämmerung), Countess (Le nozze di Figaro), Poussette (Manon), Second lady (Die Zauberflöte), Venus (Rossi’s L’Orfeo), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Tchang-Haitang (Zemlinsky’s Der Kreidekreis), Desdemona / Emilia (Otello), Mother (Hänsel und Gretel), Mimì (La bohème), Clotilde (Norma), Lola (Cavalleria rusticana), Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly). She has worked with such conductors as Bosch, Amanuma, Karytinos, Economu, Voudouris, Vranos, Petrou, Xanthopoulou, Michailidis. She has performed with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, Athens and Thessaloniki Municipality Orchestras, Orchestra of Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, as well as at the Gala Maria Callas (Thessaloniki Concert Hall, 2017 & 2020), at the 1st Eptapyrgio Festival and the Athens Festival. She has presented contemporary Greek composers’ works and has collaborated with such ensembles as the Emilios Riadis String Quartet. // Last update of the biography: March 2022.
