Costume designer
She received her MA in theatrical design from New York University. Projects include Madama Butterfly and Cimarosa’s L’italiana in Londra (Frankfurt), Braunfels’ Die Vögel and a double bill of De Falla’s El amor brujo and Janáček’s Diary of One Who Disappeared (Strasbourg), and Cavalli’s La Calisto (La Scala, Milan, for which she received the Premio Abbiati 2021 for best costume design). She collaborated on productions of Handel’s Tamerlano and Olga Neuwirth’s Lost Highway (Frankfurt), Martinů’s The Greek Passion (Opera North), Péter Eötvös’ Tri Sestry (Yekaterinburg), Handel’s Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno (Copenhagen), The Rake’s Progress (Braunschweig), Peter Grimes (Karlsruhe), Handel’s Julius Caesar (ENO), Salome (Saarland State Theatre), Imeneo (Glimmerglass) among many others. Doey designs costumes for theatre, dance and opera and has worked in theatres all over Europe including Berlin State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Hannover State Opera, Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, Gothenburg Opera Dance Company, Bordeaux, Vienna and Basel. // Last update of the biography: April 2023 - The list of the productions below is complete.
