He studied advanced theory of music and then singing & opera performance with Frangiscos Voutsinos and Kostas Paskalis. He works regularly with the Kiel Opera (Germany), where he has sang many principal roles. He has performed in many opera houses and festivals, such as: Kiel Opera, Welsh National Opera, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Opera Festival of Ancient Corinth, Athens Concert Hall, Athens and Epidaurus Festival, Thessaloniki Opera, Athens Chamber Opera, Greek National Opera and more. He has performed in more than sixty different opera roles, such as: Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Colline (La bohème), Water-gnome (Rusalka), Osmin (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), King Heinrich (Lohengrin), Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Des Grieux (Manon), Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni), Daland (Der fliegende Holländer). He has also sung oratorios, liturgies and the bass soloist parts in symphony-works. At the Greek National Opera he has sung such leading and key bass roles as Masetto (Don Giovanni), Meliso (Alcina), Alidoro (La Cenerendola), Astolfo (Orlando furioso), Banco (Macbeth), The Priest (The cunning little vixen/Příhody lišky Bystroušky), Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), etc. He has also worked with the Athens Chamber Opera and the Experimental Stage of the GNO. He has sung in the Greek operas The Possessed by Haris Vrontos (2001/02) and The Mask of Red by Dimitris Maragopoulos (1998/99). His recordings include awarded international releases of Handel's Oreste, Arianna in Creta, Tamerlano, Giulio Cesare and Alessandro Severo, all under the direction of Giorgos Petrou (MDG). // Last update of the biography: December 2015 - The list of productions below is continually updated.
