Soloist, Mezzo-Soprano
She was born in Athens. She graduated from the Greek National Conservatoire (under Lydia Angelopoulou, diploma with distinction and first prize), while she also took lessons under Olivera Miljakovic and Marina Krilovic. In addition, she studied at London’s Royal Academy of Music on a Jennifer Vyvyan scholarship under Jouie Kennard, obtaining a diploma in opera. She also studied at the GNO’s Opera Studio (2009/10). She continues having lessons under Christina Yannakopoulou. She has attended opera technique and singing seminars, lied and baroque music seminars under Jeanette Pilou, Christopher Warren Green, Jose Cura, Barbara Bonney, Elizabeth Vidal, Ingeborg Danz and others. She has performed the roles: Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Masha (in Shostakovich's Paradise Moscow, Destiny and Fury (in Cavalli’s La Calisto), Dewman, the Dew Fairy (in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel), as well as excerpts from operas ny Massenet, Ravel, Mozart and Britten. She has participated in the production of Pauline Viardot's opera Cinderella (Cendrillon) (Rafi Theater,2014/15). Since 2012 she collaborates regularly in events at the "To Treno sto Rouf". For the GNO she has sung such roles as: Annina (La traviata), Spirit (in Sofianopoulos’ The rime of the ancient mariner), Arikia (in Milhaud’s La deliverance de Thésée), Second child-spirit (in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte) Myrsouda (The Murderess by Giorgos Koumendakis) and Attaché in Nikos Kypourgos’ children’s opera Beware! The prince is messy! [Prosochi!
