Chrissa Maliamani
Soloist, Soprano
Greek soprano, she was born in Thessaloniki. She studied voice at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki under Varvara Tsampali (diploma with honours) and completed her postgraduate studies at the Würzburg University of Music (Germany) under Cheryl Studer. While studying she sang such roles as Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Fanny (La cambiale di matrimonio), Zerbinetta (Ariadne aufNaxos), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Adele (Die Fledermaus). Since September 2012 and until July 2014 she was a member of the Ensemble of the Plauen-Zwickau Theatre (Germany), where she performed numerous roles such as Despina (Così fan tutte), Ännchen (Der Freischütz), Frasquita (Carmen) and Graziella (Detlev Glanert’s Joseph Süss). Recently she performed the title roles in Lucia di Lammermoor and Carlo Coccia’s Caterina di Guisa, as well as the role of Leila (Les Pêcheurs de perles). // Last update of the biography: March 2019 - The list of the productions below is continually updated.
