She was born in Cleveland, Ohio (US). She graduated from the Houston Grand Opera Studio. She debuted as Micaëla [Carmen] at the New York City Opera. Her has appeared as Alice Ford [Falstaff] and Antonia [The tales of hoffmann/Les contes d'Hoffmann] (Lyrique-en-Mer Festival, France), Mimi [La bohème], (Nashville Opera), Tosca [Tosca] (Opera East Texas), Donna Anna [Don Giovanni] (Bellingham Festival and Spokane Opera), Berta [The barber of Seville/Il barbiere di Siviglia], Leonora [The troubadour/Il trovatore] and the title roles in Vanessa and Intermezzo (New York City Opera). She interpreted the role of Missy in the world premiere of Tod Machover’s opera Resurrection (Houston Grand Opera, Boston Lyric Opera). She has sung in many church music concerts in Europe and America: Verdi’s Requiem, Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor [Große Messe in c-Moll], Mendelssohn’s Elias, Honegger’s King David [Le roi David], Poulenc’s Gloria, Charpentier’s Te Deum, Vaughan Williams’ Benedicite, etc. She has recorded modern operas by Carlisle Floyd, Mark Adamo and Tod Machover (Albany Records). She collaborated with the GNO once, singing (in Greek) Smaragda [The Masterbuilder/O protomastoras] (Athens Music Hall, 2007/08).
