He was born and studied in Thessaloniki. He worked for three years with the National Theater of Northern Greece, on a Greek and foreign repertory. He has been working in theater, television and radio since 1975. He has participated in international festivals abroad and in the Greek festivals of Epidaurus, Herodeion, Lycabettus Theater, etc. He is a founding member of Spyros Evangelatos’ Amphitheatro (1975-1982). He has collaborated with numerous theater troupes, including Aliki Vouyiouklaki, Mimi Denisi, Nikos Kourkoulos, Kostas Voutsas, Giorgos Armenis, Eleni Randou, Stamatis Fasoulis, Neos Kosmos Theater, etc. He has performed in musicals and revues. He was co-founder, financial and artistic director of the Hytirio Theater (1994-2005). He has directed music theater performances, such as Lina Nikolakopoulou’s Drop on the knees.
