Currently he is Honorary Principle Conductor at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. He has a wide operatic repertoire and has worked in the major opera houses worldwide: Rome Opera, La Scala in Milan, Opéra national de Paris, La Maestranza in Seville, Bunka Kaikan (Tokyo), Osaka, Korea National Opera, Colón in Buenos Aires, Théâtre royal de La Monnaie in Brussels, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Frankfurt Opera, Vienna State Opera, Macerata Opera Festival, Arena di Verona, Zurich Opera, Göteborg Opera, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Bilbao Opera, Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Royal Danish Opera (Copenhagen), Seattle Opera, Royal Albert Hall (London), MET.
