Nikos Mosxis

Dancer
He was born on Rhodes island. He studied at the Greek National School of Dance and is a graduate of the Niki Kontaxaki Higher Professional Dance School (dancer and dance teacher departments). He has participated in contemporary and classical dance masterclasses given by Kurt Konkel, Margarita Dimitrova and Deborah Saxon. Mosxis has collaborated, among others, with the Niki Kontaxaki Classical and Contemporary Dance Group. He was a member of the GNO’s New Stage ballet (2000-2005), participating in two opera productions: I Αpahides ton Athinon [The Apaches of Athens] and O Vaftistikos [The Godson]. He is a member of GNO’s corps de ballet since 2005, and has taken part in seven productions of opera and ballet works: Canto General, The Nutcracker, Zorba the Greek, Snow queen, Carmen, (Odeon Herod Atticus, 2006/07), Mavra - The Seven Deadly Sins [Die Sieben Todsünden] - Gianni Schicchi (2007/08). In July 2013, he staged his own choreography, Amélie…Meli! as part of a presentation titled New GNO Choreographers Open trial – DanceBox.
