He studied at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts Mozarteum, Salzburg, and he was Head of Scenography at the Stuttgart State Theatre. He has worked with director Christof Loy in such operas as Le nozze di Figaro, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Der Rosenkavalier and La bohème.
