She was born in Athens. She studied at the National Conservatory under Magky Karatza and Anna Remoundou, from where she graduated in 1967. She continued her studies on a state scholarship at the Vienna Music Academy, where she was taught by Louise Scheit and Josef Witt. She has performed in recitals in Greece and abroad. She has worked with renowned conductors who have collaborated with the GNO, such as Dimitri Chorafas, Vyron Kolassis, Odysseas Dimitriadis, Andreas Paridis, Choo Hoey, Lefteris Chalkiadakis, Dimitris Michailidis, Lukas Karytinos, etc. She has participated in recordings with the National Symphony Orchestra and the Contemporary Music Orchestra of the Greek National Broadcasting Corporation (ERT). She cooperated with the Centre for Contemporary Music Research (KSYME). As a soloist, she participated in works presented by Mediterranean countries in Palermo. She served as Artistic and Administrative Head of the City of Athens Philharmonic. In 1988, she co-founded the Athens Chamber Opera together with Lefteris Chalkiadakis, Andreas Kouloumbis, Konstantinos Nikakis and Alexis Stylios. For several years, she taught singing at the National Conservatory, the Athens Conservatory and elsewhere. She first performed with the GNO in 1970. During the years 1972-1991, she interpreted leading and supporting roles in ten opera, five operettas and one musical, staged in 32 productions and/or revivals. Roles she interpreted include Leïla (Les pêcheurs de perles), Emmy (Albert Herring), Titika (The Apaches of Athens), Xenia (Boris Godunov), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Cupid (L'incoronazione di Poppea), 1st Boy (Die Zauberflöte), Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), Grisi (Das Dreimäderlhaus), Valencienne (Die lustige Witwe), Kiki (The Godson), Annina (La traviata). // Last update of the biography: November 2023 - The list of productions below is continually updated.
