She debuted as stage and costume designer at Piccolo Teatro, Milan. Eversince she has signed numerous drama productions with leading directors including Angelo Longoni, Guido de Monticelli, Giulio Bosetti, Maurizio Scaparro, Leo Muscato. Furthermore, she has collaborated with John McFarlane, James Ivory and Jean Paul Gaultier. In 1996 she debuted in opera creating costumes for Europe’s greatest theatres. Since 2001 she has been working with director Arnaud Bernard in such productions as Le Roi de Lahore (La Fenice, Venice), La traviata (Prague, Seoul), Nabucco (Seoul), Falstaff (Naples, Lausanne), The Queen of Spades (Toulouse), Thaïs (Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall), etc. In 2012 she was nomitated for Golden Mask Award (Best costume designer of the year). Since 2005 she has been appointed professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera. She has worked again with the GNO in Faust, I vespri siciliani and I Capuleti e i Montecchi.
