Pavlos Sahpekidis

He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He studied theater at the National Theater of Northern Greece Drama School and law at the Democritus University of Thrace. He collaborated with the National Theater of Northern Greece, the Municipal Theater of Kalamata and the theaters Nees Morfes, Train at Rouf and Studio Protes Yles. He has played the following roles: Dantis [Stella Violanti], Hippolytus [Phaedra’s love, by Sarah Kane], Ferdinand [The tempest], Erich [Tales from the Vienna Woods/Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald], Kiril [Platonov], Sindar [Deers and curses] Polydoros [Delicious/Pentanostimi], Greece never dies [I Ellada pote den pethainei], Homer’s Iliad/Trojan war (text/director Carmen Ruggeri), Homer’s Odyssey/The fairy tale of fairy tales (text/director Carmen Ruggeri), etc. He worked with a number of directors, including Diagoras Chronopoulos, Stavros Doufexis, Nikos Mastorakis, Giannis Iordanides, Alexandros Rigas, Nikos Armaos, Tatiana Ligari Sotiris Chatzakis, Carmen Ruggeri, Petros Zoulias, etc. He participated in the television series Moon’s Light [Fos tou feggariou] and In the sun of the Aegean [Ston ilio tou Aigaiou], by Kakia Igerinou. He taught theater education at the Daphni Psychiatric Hospital of Attica.
