Tiziano Santi
Set designer
He studied in Parma and Bologna and was specialized at La Scala, Milan, and the Arena di Verona. At the beginning of his career he worked for Italian and European theatres and collaborated with leading film directors and designers such as Ettore Rondelli. He designed sets for concerts and operas in Malaysia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, South Korea, France and Monte Carlo. He was nominated for “Maschera d’Oro” prize (Così fan tutte,Mariinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg) and received the “Soffitto d’Oro” (highest award of St. Petersburg) for the sets of Puccini’s Il trittico. He has worked repeatedly with Luca Ronconi. Santi has designed sets for Teatro Regio (Parma), Teatro Stabile di Torino, Teatro Municipale di Piacenza and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Currently, he works with Fabio Ceresa, Rosetta Cucchi and Leo Muscato.
