Soloist, Mezzo-Soprano
She studied at the Hellenic Conservatory of Music & Arts (class, Sonia Karamanian), where she received a diploma in singing. Since 1987 she is a permanent member of the Greek National Opera. She sang in the chorus and as soloist for the Greek National Opera interpreting supporting roles in the operas La vida breve (First shopgirl), The Return [O gyrismos] by Argyris Kounadis (Martha), Rigoletto (Giovanna), Madama Butterfly (Kate Pinkerton), Cavalleria rusticana (Lola), Thais (Myrtali). She appeared in the opera Dido and Aeneas (Athens Concert Hall), under the musical direction of Manos Hadjidakis, and sang in the first performance of Thetia by Nikos Drelas at the Festival di Morgana a Palermo. She also sings ‘entechno’ music, artistic Greek song and worked mainly with Dimitris Lagios (in Greece, England, Morocco, Cyprus, ), as well as Notis Mavroudis (Athens Concert Hall). Discography.
