Costume Designer
Born in Omagh, Northern Ireland, she designs sets and costumes for theatre, opera, and film. She has regularly collaborated with director Sam Brown, with whom she won the Ring Award, in Graz, Austria, and the 2011 European Opera Prize. Her set and costume designs include Billy Budd (Norwegian National Opera), Eugene Onegin (Scottish Opera), Die Fledermaus (Wermland Opera), Radamisto (NIO), L’Heure espagnole and Gianni Schicchi, The Importance of Being Earnest (Opéra national de Lorraine), The Turn of the Screw (NIO, Nevill Holt Opera), Don Giovanni (Bergen National Opera, NIO), La Favorite (Graz Opera), Salome (Cologne Opera, NIO), La Cenerentola (Lucerne Theatre), The Triumph of Time and Truth / The Triumph of Beauty and Deceit (Handel Festival, Karlsruhe), Der Zigeunerbaron (Klagenfurt), Káťa Kabanová (Coburg), Albert Herring (Aldeburgh).
