Italian bass, he follows a distinguished career with performances in all major theatres and festivals worldwide such as La Scala (Milan), Teatro Regio (Turin), Arena di Verona, Teatro Massimo (Palermo), Verdi Festival (Parma), Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Valencia), Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona), Dutch National Opera (Amsterdam), Rossini Opera Festival (Pesaro), Teatro di San Carlo (Naples), Zurich Opera House, Vlaamse Opera (Antwerp), Opéra de Lausanne. He has sung lead roles in operas like Don Carlo, Rigoletto, La bohème, Turandot, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Le nozze di Figaro, I puritani, Don Giovanni under prestigious conductors. Moreover, he has been regularly invited by Riccardo Muti at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome. Zanellato debuted Zaccaria in 2001. Since then he has sung the role to great acclaim in Wiesbaden, Copenhagen, Bologna, Parma, Rome, Rovigo, Kiev, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
