She was born in Athens. Since she was eight years old she studied at the Dance School of Despina Gregoriadou, initially at her amateur classes and later at the professional class, where she graduated from with a classical dance diploma.She attended dance seminars with Rizova etc. She also studied modern dance. She is a certified ballet teacher, as well as a graduate civil engineer of the Athens Educational Technological Istitutes. During the years 1984/86 she collaborated with Yannis Metsis' Athens Experimental Ballet. Since 1986 she joined the Greek National Opera ballet as a permanent member. During the period 1982-2007 she appeared in productions of the ballets Giselle, Coppélia, Romeo and Juliet, Variations in White, Don Quixote, Cinderella (music by Prokofiev), Zorba, The damned snake, Le Corsaire, Pinocchio. She danced at the ballet interludes for operas Adriana Lecouvreur, Hänsel und Gretel, Die Fledermaus, La traviata, Die Zauberflöte etc. She has elected secretary and president of the Greek National Opera Dancers' Union.
