Patricia Apergis

Choreographer
Βorn in Athens, she studied at the Department of Theatre Studies (NKUA) as well as dance (Niki Kontaxaki Dance School, University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France) and choreography (Middlesex University, London). In 2006 she founded the Aerites contemporary dance company. She has choreographed for theatrical performances, operas and art installations in collaboration with prestigious Greek and foreign artists for dance companies and ballets in Greece and abroad. She is co-author of Theatre – Theatrical Education (2007, Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, Adult Educational Centre), and since 2008 she has been a member of IFEA (London). She has been a modul-dance artist of the European Dancehouse Network and an associate artist of the Maison de la danse (Lyon, France). She is a member of the Board of Directors of AEF. She teaches dance and drama at the Leonteios School, Athens, where she also serves as cultural events consultant. She has taught choreography in schools in Greece and abroad. In 2021 she founded the 1st Choreography Academy U(R)TOPIAS, an artistic project in collaboration with 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture. // Last update of the biography: June 2022 - The list of the productions below is complete.
