Paul Barritt
Animation designer
He studied philosophy and illustration at Middlesex University, where he also taught and is an associate lecturer in animation. He has worked as a freelance illustrator and animator, he has been published in Time Out and has exhibited his artwork in various galleries. Moreover, he won an award at the Darklight Film Festival for his short film Shed. Before setting up the
multiple award-winning theatre company “1927”, he made several films based upon Suzanne Andrade’s writing, all of which are distributed internationally in film festivals throughout the UK and Europe. They have worked on various projects together. He has made all the animations and films for the shows Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea and The Animals and Children took to the Streets. He is also in charge of the design work for “1927”, preparing all their posters, flyers etc.
