Ιtalian tenor, former clarinetist of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma and a member of Dresden Semperoper from 2010 to 2013, he appears regularly at the Teatro alla Scala (Milan), Royal Opera House (Covent Garden, London), Lincoln Center, Bolshoi Theatre, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opéra national de Paris, Deutsche Oper Berlin, San Francisco Opera, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Frankfurt Opera, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro di San Carlo, Arena di Verona, Tokyo Suntory Hall, London Wigmore Hall. His repertoire includes leading roles in such operas as La bohème, Carmen, La traviata, Un ballo in maschera, Tosca, L’elisir d’amore, Rigoletto, Madama Butterfly, Simon Boccanegra. He has worked with prestigious conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Christian Thielemann, Fabio Luisi, Andriss Nelsons, Gustavo Dudamel, Daniel Oren, Gianandrea Noseda, Pinchas Steinberg, Myung-Whun Chung, Manfred Honeck, Jaap van Zweden, Nicola Luisotti, Roberto Abbado.
