He was born in Athens. He studied cinema. Since 1984, he has been a camera operator and director of photography in television productions and commercials, as well as in documentary short films. Since 1989 he has been working at the National Broadcasting Corporation (ERT). Parallel to that, he has been designing the lighting for theatrical performances in well known theaters of Athens, such as Apothiki, Epi Kolono, Kava, Dimitris Potamitis, Apo Michanis, Avaton, etc., since 1992. He has designed the lighting for shows by dance theatres (Roes, Theatrokinisi, etc.) as well as for concerts of the Orchestra of Colors and the music ensembles of the national broadcasting corporation (ERT). Last but not least, he has been in charge of lighting at concerts of singers and songwriters such as Nikos Portokaloglou, Dionysis Savvopoulos, etc. Since 1996, he has been cooperating with director Isidoros Sideris (Oresteia, Bacchae at the Athens Concert Hall). He has collaborated with the GNO in the productions of: Troades (1996/97), Marathon - Salamis (2002/03), Aladdin and the Magic Lamp (2008/09), A Masked Ball [Un ballo in maschera] (2008/09) and The Apaches of Athens [Oi apachides ton Athinon] (2008/09).
