She was hired by the GNO in 1941 and gradually began to interpret solo roles. She worked with the newly established institution during the years 1941-1952, interpreting leading and supporting roles in eleven operas and seven operettas, staged in 53 productions and/or revivals. Among other roles she interpreted the following: Lucia and Lola [Rustic Chivalry/Cavalleria rusticana], Margot and Praskowia [The Merry Widow/Die lustige Witwe], Mademoiselle Dangeville [Adriana Lecouvreur], Mother [The Master Builder/O protomastoras], Berta [The Barber of Seville/Il barbiere di Siviglia], Rosette [Manon], Richthofen [The Beggar Student/Der Bettelstudent], Nancy[Martha], Baroness Adelaide [The Bird Seller/Der Vogelhändler], Handa [The House of the Three Girls/Das Dreimäderlhaus], Alisa [Lucia di Lammermoor], Countess Friederike [A Waltz Dream/Ein Walzertraum], etc. She participated in first presentations of several works, including: The Sunless King [O vasilias aniliagos] (1947/48) of Andreas Nezeritis as Fate [Moira], The Tartuffes [Oi tartuffoi] of Antonios Giangakis (1948/49) as Ursula, The Lowlands [Tiefland] (1943/44) as Rosalia, A Masked Ball [Un ballo in maschera] (1949/50) as Ulrica, etc.
