He began his career in 1998 as a set designer and lighting technician whilst still studying theatrical design in Milan with M. Palli. In 2002, he collaborated for the first time with Francesco Micheli, designing sets and lighting for Orlando Furioso (Opera Barga Festival, Italy) and later for Il killer di Parole (Teatro La Fenice, 2010) and Adrienne Lecouvreur (Opéra de Nice, France 2014). He has worked with directors such as De Rosa, Fantoni, Ferrini, Horstkotte, Karge, Livermore, Malosti, Martone, Miceli, Rota, Sinigaglia. He has also worked with Rossini Opera Festival (Pesaro), Florence Music May Festival, Teatro Regio Turin, Teatro La Fenice, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Opéra royal de Wallonie, Opéra de Nice, Opéra national de Lorraine, Innsbruck Festival of Early Music and Music Festival Potsdam in Sanssouci.
